TRUDY:
I bet you all are exhausted. Take good care of you and George and Ace! That sounds like Karen was a much loved woman.
ELLEN:
I would send you some rain if I could. We get so much we can't get our hay cut and baled. The hurricane remnants are supposed to come thru here during the night and early morning, but be gone by lunch time. At least it isn't going to hang around long. We need a nice high pressure cell to sit on top of us for awhile and dry out the hay.
CB:
Yikes! No bears for me, thanks! I guess you didn't get out of your car and give him a bear hug....
We hauled Ivan to Pandapas Pond Park today. He was wearing his obnoxiously neon yellow flysheet and I don't think he ever got bit by one of those monster horseflies. My friend's horse, a dark bay TB, was attacked repeatedly. We battled horseflies for her that arrived in a swarm off and on throughout the entire ride. I gave my friend one of those flysheets a couple of years ago, she has decided it is time to use it. I think it is the worst year for horseflies at the park that I can remember.
Ivan was good today. He likes to blaze the trail. He told me three times that there were bikes coming up behind us and never got upset over anything.
