| Great pictures, Ark. I'm glad you and Lori got to ride and catch up. Find the bear paw would certainly be an unusual find on the trail. Did you contact the Department of Natural Resources to tell them what you found. Do they keep tabs on the bear population?
MERRY CHRISTMAS, to all my foop friends.

| This is a riot...........the little kids of the neighborhood are going house to house caroling (about 8 yrs & under) and giving out candy.........REALLY cute. They sing with heart and soul, not knowing the words, off key, and HAPPY. Our neighborhood is alive and well................
That was really heartwarming....................

| Merry Christmas Eve!! ELLEN: No, we didn't call anyone. There is bear hunting in Virginia, but I have no idea when the season is. We didn't have anything to haul the the paw in, although I bet someone would have liked those claws. We were in a state park, but it is a very narrow one, so someone could have shot the bear outside the park and a dog or coyote or something carried the paw to the trail. Sad for the bear. Hi TUFFWHEELR! GRAYMARE: I thought of you this evening. Donnie wanted meatloaf for Christmas dinner (he has been craving meatloaf lately). So this evening I made two of them so we could snack on them later, too. The timer beeped on the oven and I was answering an email, so told Donnie to put the two meatloaves on the stove to cool. Several minutes later I finished the email and got up to check on the meatloaf. Shadow the dog came hurrying into where I was at the computer. I went to the kitchen and found that Donnie didn't put the meatloaves on top of the stove, he just opened the oven door and slid the two dishes close to the edge of the racks. Both meatloaves had a very nice scoop off the top running down the middle of the loaf, a very neat groove about the size of the dog's pointy mouth....Shadow looked very guilty. We felt like our Christmas dinner had been eaten by the Bumpkisses smelly ol' hounds from A Christmas Story. I sliced off the top of the groove, covered them in tomato sauce and baked them awhile longer. So the dog got his Christmas treat a little early and it was delicious! We had it, too. The food was right at dog nose level, we didn't blame the dog for being tempted. We went to see "Aquaman" this afternoon. It was a little long, but was better than most of the superhero movies we have seen in recent years. Jason Momoa is easy to look at.... I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! We'll be having leftover dogfood for our dinner tomorrow... | |

| MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
Spend the morning delivering beef and venison to Veterans and needy friends, then had coffee, snacks and a nice visit with my two bestest girlfriends.
Went to candle light Christmas Eve service last night. WOW how beautiful that was. My friend Barb went along with us. My favorite church service of the year.
TUFF: How nice to see you post. Come back and post more often.
ARK: What a fun ride you had except for the bear paw...scary stuff. what a great snack Shadow had HAHAHAHA
Have a wonderful and safe Christmas with family and friends.
Remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!

Hi Tuff, where have you been? Thank you for the Merry Christmas.
ARK, I'm watching Christmas Story and thinking of you and my "Fra gilly" lamp leg lamp. It's still hysterically funny. Shadow is a riot. A happy dog, for sure.
I hope everyone has a wonderful special day with family & loved ones.....................
God bless, prayers for ALL.

| RICK: I watched the video. What a sweet guy that farmer was! Pretty darn sharp, too. It was nice to see Johnny. No New Year's plans for us. We are fuddy-duddies. We hide at home and watch movies. I am hoping to ride on New Year's Day to set my yearly intent to ride more. Our trailer hauling truck, BART, is living in the barnlot pasture right now. We used it to haul some shavings down to the barn while the ground was frozen, but the mud melted while we were unloading the truck. If we drive it out of the field, the ruts in the mud will be terrible. We can get it out in an emergency, but don't want to deal with the ruts. At least the horses have nice bedding.... It rained all last night and all day today. It has finally stopped. Winter is only a week old, but the Old Farmer's Almanac is correct so far, it is a VERY wet winter. Donnie got a new t-shirt for Christmas.... | |

| I'm baaa-ack. I went to stay with cousins on Monday, and stayed until today. We had a very nice extended Christmas. Some gifts were exchanged on Christmas Day. Some of the relatives couldn't come on Tuesday, so that part was postponed until last night. There is always a LOT of good food! I did my best to taste most of it. I'd better put in some serious time on the exercise bike. It looks like most of you had good Christmases too. | |

Prayers, for ALL...............

| GM sorry about your loss ....we just never know....live for today as life is short and tommorrow is never promised.
Im living and having fun....but you would think with all the advances in medical technology someone could design a leg brace that doesnt slide down and hits you in back of your ankle. Must have been designed by a man.....sigh...sirry guys....but they just arnt use to having thunder thighs and rest of leg normal size....

I haven't heard back............. People are still in shock, I think. I will do what I can. Other than prayers, I don't know what to do.

| Happy last day of 2018. Praying the New Year is a better year for everyone, 2018 has been difficult year for so many people.
My 83 year old neighbor went to the ER at 10 AM on Thursday, she hurt her knee, I picked her up and brought her home at 1 AM Friday morning. All day and night sitting in the ER. OMG our health system is a nightmare.
On a good note it was a test of my cataract surgery. Rain, fog, Christmas lights and me driving at 1 AM. We both made it home alive.
CB: Good luck with your knee brace, I found that Tommy Copper compression brace works really well, light weight and supports the knee. I wear mine a lot since I tweaked my good knee a couple months ago.
GRAYMARE: How awful to lose someone so suddenly always such a big shock.
ARK: Love Donnie's shirt. Very cool.
ELLEN: Welcome back home.
No parties for us tonight either. We are just not party animals. Stay home, eat some snacks, drink some sparkling grape juice in fancy glasses and in bed by 10. That's how we usher in the new year. See ya all next year...
