I had a very good visit with my cousins, met a brand new cousin who is not quite 5 months old, ate way too much, and made it there and back with no problems. It was a good day.

Holy cow................I 40 is closed from Kingman, AZ to Winslow, AZ, 200 mi I think...............
it's beginning to clear so it might be open by now..............that's never happened
that I know of...............

We're not going anywhere today.........lol, just sitting around eating..................

I just got back in town after a fast trip to see my two sisters in N. KY. I flew out early on Thanksgiving morning, or it was supposed to be early. All the wind and storms on Wednesday night caused delays all over the place. It was a madhouse at the airports. I got to Charlotte from Roanoke two hours late, managed to get to my delayed flight to N. KY. I thought I was going to end up walking home from Charlotte for awhile.... Rolling Eyes

I did get to have Thanksgiving dinner with my sisters and their families. It was a lot of fun. We played games after dinner, so I got to know my great niece and nephews a bit better.
Friday, my sisters and I went to one store, watched a movie (the Fred Rogers one), had Italian dinner, then went thru a big Christmas light display set up on the county fairgrounds. Then we took my younger sister home and I got to meet her new roommates. It was a wonderful sisters' day out. Very Happy

I got up a 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, caught a 5 a.m. flight to Charlotte, walked straight on all flights on time. Donnie picked me up in Roanoke at 8:45 a.m., took me out to breakfast, and we got home in time for me to have a nice nap after two sleepless nights. Fun times!! Cool

I had a nice little vacation. Donnie took care of our animals, painted a wall, fixed a bit of fence, worked on drainage for the hay building. He was happy to have me back home... Very Happy

Go on dec 16 thru 26th....but ill betcha i do have a good time...getting excited. So are they....i hear we as re going sliding on a tube down bigggggg hill....
