| I think I have this thing figured out except how to use the options like font, size, color when I choose them they show up but don't change to what I chose, I will play with it some more and maybe figure it out well, I hope for April showers for May flowers, as we are dry, dry, dry here and not have had enough rain | |

| ELLEN: Oh, good. The new thread works. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find the tiny little "lock" button. I knew it could be locked, just couldn't find the darn thing. Finally I noticed a tiny little picture of a padlock at the bottom of the posting page.... .. SUNNY: To get bolder lettering, press the "B". You have to do it again every time you use a smiley face. To get colors, press on the second box on the bottom row,(below the "I"). You will have to do that each time you use a smiley, too. The 'size' of letters is a bit trickier. You have to press on the double 'A', then type in the middle of it, between the two sets of brackets.. Play around with it, nothing bad can happen..
TRUDY: Did you take a photo of your cat wearing its collar of shame as a tutu? I'd like to have seen that. CB: Here is what your foal will look like, with longer ears:

| I made it too without problems.
RICK, I saw your note and sent you John's number. It's coming from my work e-mail compasswa.com so your trash filter may pick it up as junk mail.
And for the rest, the story behind the change of phone number is because John and Verizon had a falling out is all. Nothing nefarious. John stopped in to my office yesterday unexpectedly and we had a nice chat. I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks. He has done an amazing amount of work since Candace passed away. He said keeping busy keeps him from thinking. If anyone has time to drop him a note, his e-mail is horstutor at AOL. com. Horstutor does not have an E. I think encouraging words would be appreciated.

| CB Beware, if your baby turns out like the picture ARK posted with long ears, I might have to make a road trip and kidnap (foalnap?) it!! | |

| I wish there was a button here to make the text I am reading much bigger. I have old eyes and this tiny print is killing them. I use my computers zoom then if I forget when I go to a new site I have to unzoom or I only get a tiny bit of the page on my screen.
If CB's baby turns out like that one there might be many people who will be on their way to kidnap it. Of course I doubt that foal will stay that color. I never called a color on an appy until after the second shed out. Only one fooled me and basicly stayed the color it was born.

| Kathi, if there is a lot to read here, I usually zoom it in too, and then "unzoom" when I'm done. It would be nice if the print was a bit larger..... or if I was a bit younger.

| That concentrator runs from a battery and on a setting of 3 only lasts 2 hours and then requires a recharge of the battery which takes a couple hours. So while it is small and would be better than the tanks that Kathy is dealing with now, it still doesn't give her much time.
What I use is liquid oxygen .... supply is in a big tank in the entry way of my house and a smaller supply in my vehicle. Then I use a Helios which I can fill from either one of these supply tanks. I have one that delivers a puff of oxygen when I take a breath (as oppose to a constant delivery) I use mine on 4 and it will last 3+ hours and then I can refill it from my vehicle ... It is in a carrier that I wear around my waist like a fanny pack. Still way more limitation than we would like, but far ahead of the green tanks. If you want more info Kathi .... let me know and I will help if I can.

(altho Jessi told me about a rescue for horses and they need foster homes desparately down there....) I'm probably going to have to say no cuz of the hay prices....but my heart says yes.

| Well thanks to INDYAPP and my super secret decoder ring, I had a nice 20 - 30 minute visit with John (HT) this morning. He's gonna be OK...but we all kinda/sorta knew that anyway.
I think I got my fuel line leak stopped on my tractor...this morning's efforts (#17, I believe) seemed to do the trick. I'll know in a little while.
Later...RICK | |

| Well finally, I have been wandering blindly around this website trying to catch up on what has been going on since I last posted. It has been over a year I suspect, I had to get a new laptop over a year ago and lost a lot of my internet info, then luckily Ark had my e-mail address and alerted me regarding the new posting website ...took me a while go get registered...they would not accept my last posting name (Eileen) so I had to use one of my other "nom de Plumes" Then my dial up at home is so slow it takes megga minutes to do anything, so I am now at the local library where I go to get things done. Any way gang, I'mmmm baaaack lol I am still trying to catch up, so bear with me, I recognize a lot of the oldies but goodies, Nice to be back and say Hi to all....HI...lol | |

| Welcome EILEEN! Soooo, watcha been doing? Still traveling? How are your horses, sister, etc? I believe if you go to your profile, you can change "reindance" to "Eileen". Don't forget an avatar soon, I love assigning wicked ones to folks who don't post their own! LETTERING OPTIONS: as far as I can tell, there is no option to change the lettering size permanently on the website, but for posting, we can individually help each other out by using the larger lettering when we post. This size is Huge. This size is largeThis size is normal. Believe it or not, there is even smaller, And to truly torture someone, there is tiny size. I don't suggest this one You do have to click on the double "A" icon every time you use a smiley and post between the brackets.RICK: Thanks for the HT update! Did you invite him here? I hope he joins us....SANTA: As I remember, that is a half Friesian/half Appaloosa foal. I'd love to see what he grew up to look like. Since Friesians are black, maybe he stayed black. He is really gorgeous.Gotta go round up my steed, we have a lesson in 20 minutes. | |

I'm sorry...I was out in the shop and didn't have info. Perhaps INDY can handle that invitation.
SNOOP had to take over my mechanical repair job on my tractor and seems to have it fixed.
Now, I can get back to some more productive jobs outside.
Love to all...Rick & Snoop
A BIG WELCOME HOME TO EILEEN...gotta warn ya that ARK can be 'WICKED" in assigning avatar pictures.

| Carol W, I have been checking on portable 02's and there is one that has a 5 hour rate and is AC DC. It is not too big and fits in a small backpack. I think I may go that way if this is going to be a long time thing. Are you on Advair too? I see my DR again on Thur. and am waiting see what my levels are.
Thanks Santa for the info I looked at it. It is smaller and less hours than the one I found though.
I too would love to see that foal all grown up. Hope it did keep all that pretty.

| Yes Kathi ... Advair and Spireva .... plus I have a genetic blood deficiency that I get a weekly infusion to replace. That is Zemaira .... You might want to ask your Dr. to test you for Alpha 1 Antitrypsum deficiency. Simple blood test, but very important if you have it. It used to be considered to be a very rare condition, but now, it is being tested for and isn't at all unusual. Just a thought.
And, yes, if we have to do it, we need to figure out the easiest way for us to use the O2 and still do most of what we like to do. Good Luck with that Kathi.
