Cb I haven't herd from her today but she told me yesterday that they were expecting from 4 to 8 inches overnight they still had some snow on the ground from the last snow that came through but she is in seventh heaven over the snow

I am with RICK.  Die, winter, die!

We got 4 more inches of snow last night.  Donnie got up with the birds and cleared pathways for me with the snowblower, again.  It was pretty  on the trees for a few hours, then started melting off.  Where there are paths, there is mud.  

South of us got more snow than we did.  I heard NC had power outages.  RICK:  How are you doing?

One nice thing recently, my horses look so clean!  Rolling in the snow has cleaned them up.   The mud will take care of that soon, so I am enjoying the cleanliness while I can.

 We need sunshine and toasty weather reports!  Hopefully, by the time you get home, spring will have arrived and the snow will be gone!

On saturday there are five, count them, FIVE AUCTIONS WITHIN 20 miles from us all at the same time! which one shall we choose? decisions, decisions....

Friday there is a big tack and horse auction, sell tack from 230 to 7 and horses start at 7 until done...we have been to smaller auctions and left at 2 am and they were still selling.....this is a big one....we.may go from one straight to one on saturday at 9 am

Today, it's bright and sunny but very windy. We're going to sew today while it is too cool to want to be outside. Tomorrow and Sunday will be much better and in the 70s. At my house, the high today is 15 with lots of snow coming over the weekend. I'm glad I'm here.

Graymare, why didn't you get Faith and a rope out there yesterday to catch those llamas on the loose? It was fun to watch those guys trying to catch them, and mostly failing. It took a couple of good ropers to finally get them.

They were 80 mi from here. However, sorry to have missed the fun.
BUT, AZ had one cowboy hero........woooooooohooooooo! The llamas were visiting a senior center and an old guy was holding the one llama.
Something spooked it I hear..................hey, those old birds will talk about the fun for days & days.

Graymare, I was watching when the roper finally got a loop on the black one. Then the white one took off and was just going everywhere, making all those guys looks a little foolish. It was a good idea to put the other roper in the back of the truck. That worked perfectly.
Anyway, it was fun to watch.

I LOVED it asa the llamas were winning for a long time....ha, ran all over the city. The people chasing them were funnier than the llamas.

Okay, so what was happening with the llamas? Did a whole herd get loose?

Ark, we were watching TV yesterday and happened to see a bunch of people chasing two llamas all over the place, trying unsuccessfully to catch them. They were running across streets, through yards, and doing a dandy job of making the chasers look foolish. After about half an hour one cowboy managed to rope one of them. I think it took another hour to get the second one. That time they put the cowboy in the back of a pickup truck and got him close enough to rope him too. I haven't looked but there is probably a YouTube video of some of it.

I saw some of thellama chase, funny...glad they didn't get hurt.

The shooting was in the county we lived in 1988. news said the shooter found his mother dead of natural causes and went on a rampage killing cousins in 3 household and then his self....I wonder if he blamed them for not caring for her....guess we won't know for sure. one cousin survived...maybe she will have answers.

No auctions today, weather settled the question which one to go to....lol....snow came early and like good ol fogies we opted to stay home safe and warm. sigh....but there will be other auctions galore as weather gets nice....gotz to practice my being patient skills....but I think ill go kill something instead, I'm the badass vulture!

Hey, great sox............they wash well, plain cotton.......not sure if the were for cheerleading or football.

Well, we watched diagnosis murder marathon all day today...five inches of snow and rain next 2 days forecasted....yippee skippee...mud city coming up. but it is spose to warm up so that is nice as I have goats kidding soon...and I have cabin fever.....the snow plow finally went thru so that is good thing, but we have to dig our driveway out or wait until the rain melts it.....

What's everyone else doing today? everyone is quiet............OL MAN where r u. I've had trouble with site eating my posts and now I have to log in to get on, anyone else having probs?

Well it is finally over. The coldest February in many years. The shortest month of the year seemed very long this year.
