| GRAYMARE: Will do! Eli is looking good! Is he starting to shed his foal coat? Is he going to stay a palamino or is that chestnut peeking out?
RICK: Cats are heroes this week. You can't blame it on the cat until next week!
After 24 hours of rain, we had a pretty, but cool day today. I finally got the Windows washed, the floors mopped, the house straightened up a bit, the barn and lots cleaned, the Spooky cats moved to the garage, and Annie's room back to a human room and not the cats' winter home. We will be off to pick her up tomorrow morning just past Charleston, WV.
Have fun at the big race!

| Did you hear there was some question about whether or not Chrome would run in the Belmont since he usually runs with the 'breathe right' strips and New York said they couldn't use those? However, it seems that they are reconsidering "outdated" regulations. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to be responsible for having a potential Triple Crown horse not allowed to run. | |

| Awwwwww, CB, how cute. I'm sure those little grands will be crazy for them………..
Ha, in the horse world of jealousy and greed, something had to come up, right? I guess we'll hear the outcome……………have all horses wear breathing strips. Who knows what will be decided…………..after all, it's not a horse problem, it's a huge people problem.

| They decided later today that the strips will be permitted. The trainer even admitted that it could be a superstition thing even though he doesn't think he's superstitious. | |

| CB Congrats!!!! I wuv baby goats..... GRAYMARE Great photo. Eli is growing up fast. SUNNY How is Kent doing? ELLENT I have got to make sure I catch the last race. I have missed the first two. Funny that there was a controversy over nose strips! Always something... We took Kazi and Daisy to VA Tech for trims today. Both got good reports. Donnie had to run back to work for an emergency, leaving me holding Daisy and Annie holding the much less wiggly Kazi. Annie did a good job. Daisy was a big pain and I was very happy when Donnie returned to hold her! I got licked to within an inch of my life by the big yellow bombshell.... I rode Ivan this evening. Donnie trimmed his feet yesterday. Ivan was fun. | |

Did CB leave for her trip already?
Some hot shot sport reporter called our beloved Chrome a talented freaky mutant………….SERIOUSLY? I'm amazed. Must be some dredge from Snotsville………. surely no class.
Everyone have a good evening. God bless, prayers for ALL.

| Sunny, that's good news about Kent. I hope he will do his best to take care of himself until his Medicare kicks in.
Graymare, I've noticed that so very few sports reporters know squat about horses. They are really bad and often make lots of idiotic remarks.
Trudy, are you a happy camper that Maks won? He deserved it. So did Derek and Amy. I was glad it was ultimately judged on dancing ability rather than sympathy. Amy did an absolutely amazing job all the way through. Derek was equally amazing in choreographing and coaching under extremely unusual circumstances. Meryl did have a serious advantage because of her dance experience. I would have been happy for either of them to win. I was glad Maks finally won. This was the first partner he's ever had who could help him. He's had some real losers in the past. It was a good show tonight.

| ELLEN: You betcha I am a happy camper, Maks was excellent this year. If he & Meryl hadn't won last night I wouldn't have watched DWTS ever again. I felt bad for Amy without her feet, she did a super job and showed that people can overcome anything if they try hard. But Maks did so good this year, he won a lot of people over by acting so sweet and lovable. Except for that fat woman from dance moms that he and Val told off. I always knew Maks was a sweetheart under that bad boy, tough guy persona, he just needed the right partner.
GRAYMARE: People who are not horse people say the dumbest things, I find myself watching any horse that is in the movies or TV for non horsey dumb things. Drives George nuts. LOL I saw where they are going to allow Chrome to wear his nose strips in NY, so we may have a Triple Crown horse this year.
SUNNY: Thank God Kent is doing better. It's so hard to get men to understand that sometimes they need a little extra help, they can't just tough it out.

| I'm not certain if this is a fact as I just heard it on the news……..Filly Unlimited Budget is being ridden in the Belmont by Rosie Napravnik………only filly in the race. Trainer Todd Pletcher. I guess we'll see soon enough if this is true. | |
