Whew, got back on in record time, it kicked me to the curb once again at the change of the month!

Rick hope you feel better!

Ark, the pic at the top gives me a case of bad vibes and the willies....I don't know why...hopefully you can change it soon. If I send you real pics can you post them for me? I have pics of the horses and Missy Muleytude...too.

Sunny, doncha get any speeding tickets now with your new machine!

RICK:
Hope you are feeling okay. I had 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled back in college, we had a dentist that loved pulling wisdom teeth. He didn't get Donnie's. I remember only eating soup for several days.

SUNNY:
Soooooo? How is the new ride? Do you love it? Did you name it?

CB:
That Pegasus photo is of a metal statue I saw at Pier One last year. I loved it, but couldn't justify the expense, so I took its picture home with me. It was prettier in person, my iPod didn't have much light to work with. The statue only stood about 2 feet tall. Why does it give you the willies? I'll change it soon.

ELLEN:
Yikes! It is colder at your house than here, although right now it is 12 degrees. It is way too cold. The horses are back in their blankies. Arieon's has a nice big rip in it I am going to have to fix. Rolling Eyes Duct tape didn't work too long and my 1910 Singer sewing machine, a treadle, won't do the job on the blanket. I am going to have to sew it by hand.

TALLYPAM:
I finally got some answers about the drugs the cardiologist wants me to take from the hematologist folks. Finally. I think they have a reasonable plan for me that might not kill me. I hope. So what were you up to during the summer? How is Caspar doing?

Happy Groundhog Day everyone.

It's a big day here in PA, as we all wait for the prediction from Phil. I'm sure it will be another 6 more weeks of winter. It's 14 degrees this morning with more nuisance snow on it's way. We can't seem to break the cycle of snow every couple of days. At least it does go away before more arrives.

I received my very last pay from the PO. Guess how much it was????? 50 cents. Yes, 50 cents. Shocked They owed me an annual leave hour and after all the taxes that was my net pay. OMG I am going to frame that pay stub and hang it on the wall. I never had a 50 cent pay before. hysterical

Have a great day. I'm off to watch the crazies celebrate Ground Hog Day on the news. ROFL

Super Bowl pick...Go Niners!!!!!

Love & prayers for all...

Now my question is...how much did it cost the goobermint to print/process/handle/mail that to you? If you don't cash it...it might make to goobermint's balance sheet look a bit better!! That is the funniest I've heard in a long time. Thanks for sharing it with us. ClappingHands ClappingHands ClappingHands

ARK, i don't know why it just does....

Trudy, that is tooooo funny.

Going to kids party and then the bunch will ride, one of the kids is going to ride Cinny, its flat and will be short ride, but want to see if she can handle a kids riding without laming up. I'm at wits end with not knowing whats up....exray will be the 13th....to see if there is any rotation. If there is, I will have to have her put down....I don't have the vets to work with her near, its an 8 hour drive to the one that could.....and very expensive. we'll see....that's where it stands now...

Y'all have a great weekend.

Trudy, that really is a riot! Have you done your taxes yet? Will you get a refund from your post office employment? I agree with Rick... how much did it cost them to send that check.

CB, I hope Cinnamon will be fine tomorrow.

RICK: If it was a check, I would never cash it, unfortunately my pay was direct deposit to our checking account. George & I were like "who would depoist 50 cents into our checking account?" I guess all the paper work they had to do makes it worth it. Oh yeah...and they gave me a $1.00 raise even though I am not employed there any longer. And we wonder why the PO is in such deep dodo...GGEESSHHHHH Rolling Eyes They still think I am employed there. I don't know what I'll spend that last pay check on, can't even purchase a candy bar for 50 cents any longer. Any suggestions?

ELLEN: It will go on my 2013 taxes. Hope I remember to claim it next year, I should geta BIG refund. LOL

CB: If she has navicular, maybe a set of bar shoes with a pad would help her at least be rideable, if the coffin bone hasn't rotated.

Phil said it will be an early spring. I can't believe that...it is so darn cold, I think he is getting senile. LOL

Can't wait to watch the Super Bowl commercials..they are the best part especially the horses.
Love & prayers for all...

Trudy, did they switch Phils? This one seemed so much smaller than the last one I remember seeing, altho it has been a year...I could be wrong or my rememberer broken!

Cinny is doing fine today and she got ridden a lot yesterday by different folks so I could watch and see what she was doing....then Joey took her out for a trail ride and Bailey the youngest GK rode double with him....no limping today or during the ride? The ol' mare is really gettin' my goat! I will have an exray taken the middle of the month to see about rotation....but I"m thinking if it was that, she would limp ALL the time. I had special shoes put on her last time she was shod...but she lamed up after that again...SOOOOOOOoooooo

Ohhhhh, those are GOOD ones, Ark. Laughing Laughing

Did anybody watch the game? It was a good game. Looked like it was going to be a route, but the 49ers made a real game of it. Came down to the last seconds. It was neat to see two brothers, both head coaches, go head to head. How would you like to be their pairents. Who do you cheer for? The winner? The loser? Both? Or for yourselves for raising two guys who are currently the best at what they do.

ooohhhh. Where DO you get these?

If I could ask for some Foop prayers again. My 80+ year old Uncle who had to have his hip replacement, replaced at Christmas time fell while he was at the rehab facility and broke the same leg about 4 inches below the original break. Both Uncle and Aunt could use the prayers.

SNOOP here with an 'unvarnished truth' about RICK...

Over the weekend, RICK was in Costco, pushing his shopping cart around, when he collided with a young guy also pushing a cart.
He said to the young guy, "Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

The young guy said, "That's OK. It's just a coincidence.
I'm looking for my wife, too.
I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate.

RICK said, "Well, maybe we can help each other.
What does your wife look like?"

The young guy said "Well, she is 24 years old, tall, with long blond hair, green eyes, long legs, big boobs and she's wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and no bra.
What does your wife look like?"

RICK said, "Doesn't matter. Let's look for yours."

You know, he just likes to be helpful like that.

INDYAPP:
Your poor uncle. I hope he gets well quickly. Big prayers for him and your aunt. Getting old isn't for wimps....
When is your clinic with Tiberius?

CB:
Yep, that is Old Man Winter looking out at us! We had more snow last night, but it has mostly melted today. Tomorrow it will finish melting! cheers And it will be in the mid-50s for my riding lesson on Thursday! ClappingHands ClappingHands
I am so ready for spring.

GRAYMARE:
Soooo, how was the party? Very Happy Besides outrageously fun?

ELLEN:
That family has a nice place to be! Winners all around. I only saw the half time of the Super Bowl, missed all the good commercials. I did see the Budweiser commercial this morning on Kelly and Michael show, it was so sweet. I would like to think that Ivan would stop to see me when he reaches the Big Time instead of just passing me by Laughing . (It would depend upon where the snacks were located at the time...)

RICK:
I love your engineering terms! I will make sure Donnie sees them.
How's your toothlessness going?

SUNNY:
Hey! How's the chair?

The eye doctor visit today went well. There are no problems with the posterior vitreous detachment that has completed and the retina is in good shape. I am good to ride again. ClappingHands I do have cataracts in both eyes and have an appointment with an eye surgeon (in Dublin, for once!) who will tell me if I need surgery on my eyes. Strangely, I am somewhat excited about a surgery! I may get my eyes fixed! I have been basically blind all my life. Our insurance will cover cataract surgery, but not optional eye surgery, but when they fix the cataracts, they will improve my vision. It seems unreal that I may be able to actually see without thick glasses..... Cool Anyway, the cataracts explain my vision loss over the past few months.

Clinic for Tiberius is still tentative at this time and it's in April. If I can't take him, I'll at least go watch. I have to arrange time off and hauling. Someday I'll have a truck again, but not yet. In the mean time I'm dependent on borrowing relatives truck and he doesn't keep it in the best mechanical shape. My little Kia Rio just isn't going to pull my trailer. Come to think of it, if I take out the partitions, the car might fit IN the trailer.

Glad to hear your eyes are going to be fixed. There is a lady here at work with cataracts in both eyes and she can barely see her computer screen. It's scarey that she drives. Fortunately she gets one eye done tomorrow and the second eye in another week or two. She's excited about having her surgery too.

ARK...the 'toothless condition' seems to be OK. Had a small tumor looking thingy on inside of my lip carved away at the same time. THAT has been a bother..pain still there and I still have a 'fat lip' that makes me look like I'm pouting or been in a fight or got out-kissed in a kissing contest. Makes it difficult to try to drink/eat at times. I'll live!

Just got back from followup with plastic surgeon. Turns out I have a 'very weak' skin cancer from a spot on my forehead. That looked like a tiny cut/scratch that just wouldn't heal. So, I've got MORE carving to be done on my face...25th of Feb.

I, like everybody else seems to be, am anxiously awaiting spring. It seems the older I get, the MORE I dislike cold weather.

Love to all...Rick

Rick, what's the weather supposed to be like in Charlotte late next week? I'm going to be there with my cousin and his wife, visiting some other friends. We'll be there for a few days for a bird carving show and then going on to Florida to visit with my neighbors who winter down there.
