Ellen , Virginia and I were shopping up at IU and she asked me to get some crackers way up on the top shelf. As I tip toe to get them a sales clerk on the lower shelves got up and I told her that my wife spoils me to think I am tall.

Well, she sad I must be because I was taller than her, very unusual.

Well a man was coming by and he was a 6 10 basketball star and he winked at me and said "you're tall"---.

Ellen, Bobby Knight has never been bested by having "all" his players to be extra humble and polite!!!! Remember, he was onery but not his players at IU. Remember

     "More oats please…….."  Happy happy happy…………..

It's BAAAACCKKK! Winter that is. It was 50 degrees Monday and Tuesday. Today it's snowing like mad and all the schools are closed again. pffffttttt

CB Happy Belated Birthday. Hope you enjoyed it and had lots of fudge. Fudge doesn't count on your birthday. I learned that here in Foopland.

Yeah, Indy. Here too. My glass doors look like they are covered with lace. When it first started it was more freezing rain and it stuck to the glass. The cables on my railing are ice covered too. Boy, I sure hope this is the last one for this year. Everybody is really tired of it.

Heads up, BEECH. This mess is headed your way, supposed to dump up to 2 feet on you.
It stopped snowing here a little after noon. We got maybe 4 inches. Hard to tell how much because of all the blowing and drifting. One more cold night and day, and then I HOPE it will start improving for real.

RICKSTER………………that's hysterical………."wet my plants"….WAY funny!

RAINING here all day! Though temps are falling so that we expect to see some snow by morning. And the wind is picking up. Ski areas up north are happy to be getting a couple of feet of the white stuff. I sneaked in a trip to Portland and Kennebunk this morning and expected to run into trouble on the way home but didn't.

CB: Geesh I missed your birthday. Happy Birthday girl friend.

It was 65 here on Tuesday, this morning it was 12. YIKES....no snow but the wind has not stopped howling since 8 PM yesterday. BBRRRRRRRR

Ace & I have started our walks now that the snow has gone, but we had to take a short one this morning, I can take the cold but not that darn wind.

We have started most of our veggies for the garden (inside of course), once the little veggies peek out of the dirt the work (George calls it fun) begins. We are trying some different veggies this year along with our normal ones.

Keep thinking SPRING.

Wow, you guys.  I had NO idea the excitement and happiness this was for so many people.  58 people came out today………………Two groups from assisted living, friends, friends of friends……….people just wanting a happy day……many from church.    

The sire's owner just left and I closed the gate…………….

One guy asked me why I would breed a horse at my age and I quipped "because my age is  higher than my IQ and I can do what I want to now"  He got an odd look on his face, then got the joke……………….

RAMBO had a GREAT first day……………..I had a seriously heart happy day…….I had no idea how many folks just love something wonderful happening at my house.

Graymare, woohooooooo! sounds like he has a lot of chrome to me! Who was closest to guessing? Have fun, I know you have already imprinted the lil guy! who could not, he sounds delicious!

My hosses are shedding....I think spring has sprung.... Yay!

AAAWWWWW... Beautiful baby. Palamino was NOT what I expected out of that cross. Goes to show I know nothing of genetics. Beautiful baby. Beautiful MaMa. She deserves some more oats.

ARK, he'll just be called Cowboy………I called him Rambo yest as he is such a big colt and bag of bones.  We all just thought that was funny.  He is so gentle and sweet……LOL, he's no more a Rambo than I am a brain surgeon.  Ima Cowboy Two (too) after our other Cowboy is the name but we really don't know what he will be called around the barn.  Today he's Little Baby Buzzie.
Today after sunrise I'll let them out….I LOVE watching that as the foals all run and buck with Mama in the lead.

I only have 2 visitors today that I know of.  I need to put my big lens on the camera………….

I loved it that some came from my friend's mother's assisted living complex….They loved it.  They always love an outing………..I wasn't expecting them so it was a really fun surprise.  They only stayed maybe 8-10 minutes, each group……they came in their own cars 3-4 to a car……..the news had to be word of mouth as I didn't know the people…….they oooed and ahhhhhed and then left.
I had already told our Sunday School class so many were from there, also.  It all just happened.

This morning seems really dull…………….LOL, too much excitement yesterday.
