ARK, he'll just be called Cowboy………I called him Rambo yest as he is such a big colt and bag of bones.  We all just thought that was funny.  He is so gentle and sweet……LOL, he's no more a Rambo than I am a brain surgeon.  Ima Cowboy Two (too) after our other Cowboy is the name but we really don't know what he will be called around the barn.  Today he's Little Baby Buzzie.
Today after sunrise I'll let them out….I LOVE watching that as the foals all run and buck with Mama in the lead.

I only have 2 visitors today that I know of.  I need to put my big lens on the camera………….

I loved it that some came from my friend's mother's assisted living complex….They loved it.  They always love an outing………..I wasn't expecting them so it was a really fun surprise.  They only stayed maybe 8-10 minutes, each group……they came in their own cars 3-4 to a car……..the news had to be word of mouth as I didn't know the people…….they oooed and ahhhhhed and then left.
I had already told our Sunday School class so many were from there, also.  It all just happened.

This morning seems really dull…………….LOL, too much excitement yesterday.

Just let me leave for one day for the first time in weeks and look what happens! Graymare, he is just beautiful and looks so strong and healthy. It is so neat that so many people had a little fun and happiness because of a new foal. I love that.

He is one well put together colt, and healthy, that is the main thing, baby anything is a gift and everyone loves babies. Have lots of fun with him and please keep the pics conning

Can't a guy even sleep around here?

what a sweet lil lovebug you've got there....he will bring you lots of enjoyment as he already has to so many already....isn't it wonderful to have some really great news to share! He's a baby and babies like Dawn said are just the cats' meow! special in every way...brings smiles and a feeling of "all is right with the world". GM, you son't have to send me anything, I just enjoyed guessing! Tis fun!

You should have seen the fun this kid had……..hey, good part is he is water trained.  LMAO

Cowboy II is so darn cute!!!  Faith looks very patient   .  He is the same color as Daisy.  She is a little darker when she first sheds out in the spring, but fades back to her original baby color as the summer goes on.

It is great that so many folks are enjoying Cowboy!  Baby animals grow up so fast.  I hope you post lots of pix as he grows up so we can watch him from afar.

And I agree with CB, it was fun to guess and you don't have to send me anything, just post pix!!

 I don't know anything about the photo host site you mentioned, but suspect you need to copy the photo URL after you download it....Then on the posting page here, click on the little icon that looks like a t.v. screen with a plus on it, copy that URL in the space provided, then hit "insert".  It should put the photo onto your post.  Play around with it, we can always delete any mistakes.  (I can teach you to swim on the internet, too  )

GRAYMARE: A BIG congrats on that beautiful colt. What a looker he is. Just like a little boy, he is already playing in the mud. I love Palominos.

Our weather is trying (not very hard) but trying to get warmer. Ace & I are back on our walking program. It's been a very long time since we could get into the fields to take our walks. We have been sleeping really well. Maybe we both can lose a couple of pounds.

Beech, all I can say to that picture is "OH MY GOSH"! that is a lotta snow!
We started out this morning cloudy, dark skies, but it went around us, now it is sunny, but the wind is gusting and making the camper wiggle around, kind of hard to keep your footing while walking around in here!

Not much happenin' around the lil el rancho....hubby is working on some projects outside in the WIND.....oh well, better him than me! I've been finishing the closets in our bedroom and bathroom...we have a double closet and then lots of separate doors five in the bedroom and two in the bath with 3 drawers and then we have a hall coat closet, quite a bit of storange for a camper, eh? Too many doors to hide stuff behind!   

Scheduled for my mammogram on Friday...remember gals get yours checked! Tis important ya know!

Cowboy looks very relaxed!

I have the one lil male pup left and I was looking all over for him today.....he is out in the house being a "big boy" (but he has to sleep in bed with me at night) I found him finally, in the box with the single pup of Sassys....they were curled up so sweetly together.....lost him again today in the house, and he was in the box again cuddled up to Sassy and sweet baby William, he just blended right in....lil chit! I hope he finds his forever home soon....I had two buyers come back to purchase another puppy...they like my babies the first time around and came back to get another...that makes me feel good and that I'm doing something right!    I spoil the heck out of them.....   they are definitely prespoiled! LOL

We got your wind, yesterday and today. Donnie planted grass seed in the lower hayfield today....for 5 hours. It was 64 degrees and sunny with that wind. Tomorrow they say we will get rain, sleet and snow. It will be cold again. The new grass seed will like it, though.

I worked with Ivan this evening. We loaded and unloaded in the trailer several times. He is loading fine, just unloads too fast, so we are trying to get him to unload in less than a panic. He was doing a little better. Only a month until our first 25 mile ride in S.C.

ARK……………..ha, all I'm doing w Little Cowboy is taking pictures…………..Mama is doing the rest for now…….I do just sit on a chair in their stall with my coffee….it's like watching T V only live theater and much better.

My pictures will quit for a bit until we have some changes…………….400 pics of the same ole same ole
is pretty boring.

Windy here, too, CB……not cold, just windy.

Here's your laugh for the day. I went to the local hardware store to get 2 40lb. bags of softener salt. Usually, there is one of their employees waiting to load it in your car. When I got around the side of the building, no one was there this time. I waited for a minute and decided that I could do this. After all, I have to carry them into the house. The bags are sitting on a palate that is wrapped with shrink wrap; in this case partially torn off. So, I grabbed the first bag, turned and started to take the four steps to the car. I managed one of those steps successfully. The second step tangled my shoe in a still solidly attached end of the shrink wrap sending me sprawling belly down onto the pavement, with a 40 pound bag of salt as padding. SPLAT!!! I'm here to tell you that salt doesn't make a great cushion.
The first thing I did was to look around real quick to see if anybody saw me make a fool of myself. Well, I guess there was no need to look around. Hysterical laughter would have been the give away.       
Other than a very small bruise on the heel of one hand and another small one on a knee, no damage done.

Whew, ELLEN……………….it's funny cuz you weren't hurt………..glad you're fine.     

Oh, Truuuudy. Maks is back!

We need a daily baby pix fix!  How's he doing today? Does he let people pet him?


We are covered in ice and ice pellets.   miserable cold day. The grass seed Donnie planted on Saturday should happily sink into the ground as the ice melts, hopefully tomorrow afternoon.

Who is Maks?

ARK, yes & no…..it depends on if Mama takes him away or not LOL……….for now he is just a baby.
AND, WAY fun………………..yest I sat in the field and waited…..Eli would come up and sniff me, rub, etc and then run like the KY Derby around and around the field and then come do it over…..hysterical.  And it made mama exercise as she would then have to chase him to catch him………………….they are so fun.  By the time he came in tonight he was exhausted…busy day.  He now sticks his head right in the water trough, is trying to eat grass., nibbles from the feed tub, etc……………..his legs are so long his grazing efforts are really cute.  I mowed weeds in the pasture today and mama just ignores the mower…….Eli peeked under his mom to check it out.  I'll go through today's pics to see if there is anything cute……………….my friend's Arab mare foaled last evening, chestnut colt, 4 white sox, blaze……it must be the year for chrome.  His name is Aden…………1/2 Arab, 1/2 Dutch Warmblood.

No other news other than I'm tired……………….LOL

Maks is one of the pro dancers on DWTS. He's been off the show for a year or so, but he's back - dancing with Merrill Davis who was our gold medalist ice dancer with her partner, Charlie White. He is also on the show. Trudy thinks Maks is really a hunk.

Ellen .... I enjoyed the show tonight and was totally blown away by Derek and the double amputee skier. If anybody can get going (and he did tonight) it will be a wonderful thing for her. Enjoyed to rest too ... some more, some less but will see as the season goes on .... a couple of pretty cocky youngsters... lol
