| Hot City here today, 90 degrees with unbelievable humidity. whew! Luckily, it was cloudy when I had my lesson on Areion today at lunch time, so it didn't feel so bad. I wore my safety vest with her and when I took it off, I looked like I had been rode hard and put up wet . I was as sweaty as Areion's saddle pad was. I had a very nice ride on Areion after her lesson with Lori. She and I were in the groove today! No spooks, no problems, and a good, relaxing ride. It was pretty fun. But even more fun was riding Ivan for the first time in two months for FIVE ENTIRE MINUTES!! I had him in a halter with reins and a bareback pad. He didn't miss a step, he was perfect. Boy, I have missed riding him. I rode him before Areion so was nice warmed up for her ride. It was a good riding day! | |

| I love my cousins. I HATE shopping. They LOVE shopping. Well, some of them do. We spent most of the day in Shipshewana looking at furniture, and then eating at the Bluegate. That was the good part. It's after 4:00 and I'm going swimming.
Graymare, how much longer before you finish rehab and can go back to the mountains?
They've been looking for Amelia Earhart for 80 years, and they'll probably still be looking for her 80 years from now. If I remember the history correctly, she wasn't all that great a pilot and had crashed 14 times before she started the round-the-world flight. So the odds of her crashing again were rather great.
A bit later: I was finishing up making waffles for everybody when FedEx Ground stopped here. Cousins asked me what I had ordered. I hadn't ordered anything. They lied. They bought me a beautiful red 10 foot umbrella for my deck. They are going to clean my deck and then set it up. It will offer so much more shade for the deck. I am so grateful for my cousins. They spoil me so much when they are here. I love for them to come.
Is anybody getting odd framing around this website? Something about 3rd party hosting and photobucket.

| I don't know what this weird stuff is. It's on mine, too. It's some kind of intruder or something. The website has been hacked. Hopefully the owners will get it fixed. I am off to pick up Annie, I will have to wait until tomorrow to try contacting them.
Be patient. Don't interact with it. It may be a virus.

| Okay, I have found out that this is not a virus. Apparently, Photobucket hosts a lot of the border graphics and other graphics for Forumotion, who owns our forum and lots of others. Photobucket has suddenly, and without warning, increased their subscription prices across the internet. They have blocked third party usage of their graphics, which apparently is all over our forum, without us being aware of it. Forumotion will have to change their graphics or pay big bucks to Photobucket. It is not our problem to solve, although we may have to look at some ugly stuff until it is fixed.
Anyway, it is not a virus. You don't have to worry about posting. Your computer or device won't be affected, just your sensibilities when looking at the mess!
Sorry about this. Just try to look around it and post as normal.
I rode Ivan for 5 minutes this evening after we got home from picking up Annie. He seems fine.

| SO, screw photo bucket. We can just enjoy Foopville.
This week is busy. Next week we're off to the mountains.
The monsoon season is in until September. It's about 100-105 in the day and in the 90's at night. We irrigated last night and our grass is good, trees are fine. Horses are fine. Humidity is around 35-40%................when it's really bad (65%) it's bad. This morning it was gruesome out there simply because I'm not used to it. Horses just adjust. It's like 99 with 99% humidity...........
No other news. Prayers for Judy & Bob please, friends who have bad health issues. Not sure he will live.. He has vascular problems and is not doing well. Will know more this week after testing.
God bless. Prayers for all.

| Graymare, I'm glad you are well enough to go back to the mountains. It will be a lot more comfortable. Yes, prayers for Judy and Bob.
Starting last Saturday, I started with me as 1. Then, it was 2, then 5, then 8. Saturday night there were 11 of us. Wednesday, 3 went home. Yesterday, 8 more came for the day. Today, we are down to 3 for the rest of this next week. It's very quiet. Everybody had a good time. Everything is clean. I only have to mow.

| It was for the best for Bob. Judy is a mess as you would expect. We're all a close group so it will all work out.
CB, so now what? Don't you have rights? I also didn't realize they could back out at this stage of the game. That's a boondoggle if I've ever heard one.

| GRAYMARE: I am so sorry about Bob. Poor Judy.... You did give me a little startle when you posted about them, I know a "Bob and Judy" couple, too. I am glad to hear you can go to the mountains soon! I don't know how one lives with that heat for so long. It is in the 80s to about 90 degrees here this week and we are melting. ELLEN: Whew! You are a busy cousin! I am happy you have such good help during their visits. CB: Wow. Do they have to pay a penalty to you? I didn't think they could back out at this point either. Sorry about that mess... Well, I have found out that the Photobucket mess will be removed from the Forumotion forums on Wednesday of this week. It will be blank then. I will have to figure out how to replace the images with either Imageshack or with whatever Forumotion hosts. It's been so long since I set up this template, I will have to relearn how to do it. But at least we won't be looking at the Photobucket crapola. They want $400 per year to host those images here. That isn't going to happen. My riding lesson with Lori got canceled today. I was kind of glad, it is so hot and we were going to do it at lunch time when there is no shade. So Annie and I went to WalMart.... It's nice and cool in there. | |

| Today was my Walmart day also. And, my hay guy is coming Thursday. So that's settled. Tuesday & Friday are PT. I want to quit as I think I'm good. I see neuro on Wednesday and will go from there. If you all saw me you wouldn't know anything happened. I really am one of those TPA miracles.
ARK, thanks for keeping informed.
CB, good luck with this mess.

| Graymare, if your Instant Pot isn't already in the mountains, take it with you. I just tried a Wendy's copycat recipe for chili. Ohhh boy! Is that good! And tastes like Wendy's. In the pressure cooker it only takes about 25 minutes to cook it. Here's the link to the recipe. http://www.anightowlblog.com/2016/12/instant-pot-wendys-copycat-chili.html/This would be really good at a campfire in the cool mountains. It requires a little chopping of celery, onion, garlic, and green pepper. The rest is all done in the one pot so not much to clean up. With a crowd of people, there won't be much chili left to clean up either. | |

| CB, only 10 more days. You will learn a lesson in patience, like it or not. Very quiet day here. Early this morning we took all the trash to the curb; there was a LOT of it. I don't think I've ever had that much trash in any one week in my whole life. Cousin hung my Shop Vac on the wall, ready to be used. It has a really long hose so I can reach almost the whole garage from one place. I got another bag of sand to fill the weights for the new patio umbrella. We went to dinner at a fish place, and then spent the evening watching TV. So, nothing exciting today. Happy Hump Day tomorrow. | |

| Hi guys. Not much going on here in PA. The weather has been crazy, a little rain every day, totally unexpected downpours then sun. Crazy for July.
CB: Glad they cant back outta the contract. Good thing you have a good realtor. People can be such jerks.
GRAYMARE: Good to hear that you are doing fine after your health scare.
ELLEN: Your bunch of family and friends sounds like a whole bunch of fun people.
ARK: Love the horse photos, it's my only touch with the horse world except to see my neighbors horse as I drive by on the road. Funny I never thought that would happen in my life.
My son Stacy is turning 50 next Tuesday. Man that kid is getting OLD. HAHAHA He is even a Grandpap now.
George is on his way to VA hospital in Wilkes Barre with one of his veterans that needed a ride to get to his doctor appointment. I have a day to myself except for the bug guy who is coming this morning.
Tomorrow my Barnabas group is going out to breakfast at Perkins. Always a fun time to get together with the ladies. Probably about 10 of us. It should be a chatty fun time.
Have a great day everyone..

| Morning everyone. Here is a funny little story that happened yesterday.
We had those new A/C units put in and wanted to get rid of our window units so our neighbor said he would take them. Good they are outta my hair. After he left I looked at George and said "funny how we wanted rid of the window units cause we are getting TOO OLD to fool around with them but who came and got them, Joe who is 87 years old." HAHAHAHA We had a good laugh about that.
Have a good day, I'm off to our breakfast meeting with the ladies from my church group. Always a fun time with lots of coffee and laughter.

| It's very quiet here now. The last of the troops just pulled out about 10 minutes ago. I'm always glad to have them here. When my cousin and his wife are here, she cleans everything in sight even though it's already clean; she likes to organize things; the leftovers are in the freezer; and laundry seems to be her hobby. So, the house is clean, the laundry is all done, and there is lots of food in the freezer. You'd think I was destitute and disabled - which I decidedly am not. I am very grateful for all of them. | |

| I sure know what you mean about humidity. Today is only about 86°, but the humidity makes it feel like 93°. I can't imagine 120° with that kind of humidity. That would be just awful. | |
