| CB, I'm really glad to hear that Harry is home and doing well.
We didn't get very much snow, maybe a quarter inch. It's getting really cold here tonight with a strong wind added to the mix.

| CB: So happy to hear that Harry is home and doing OK. Keeping you guys covered in prayers. Nope I have not decided on taking over the leadership role at church, but my heart tells me I am going to accept. When God calls us to step outta our comfort zone, there is a reason He is calling. I already do most of the work for the meetings so it won't be a big change anyway, I'll just have the title to go along with the work I already do.
BEECH: I have not watched the actual burial of my horse friends either. Too traumatic for me. I stay until that very moment and then walk thru the fields back to the house. They aren't there any longer after their last breath. I have never watched the actual burial of my human family members either. We all do what our minds allow us to do.
ARK: We had our daughter in laws Guinea Pig in our old freezer for months because of the frozen ground and snow here in PA, then they had a funeral in the spring. He was more like a dog than a Guinea Pig. Chip is buried with the cats.
We had a fun night, howling rain and wind. I couldn't sleep so I went down stairs (thank God), it was raining into the living room thru the window, dripping onto the carpet. Dodged a bullet there and managed to get it stopped and saved the drapes and carpet. Snow and ice out there now. Weird after a day of 65 degrees.

| What matters the most to our horses is how we cared for them when they were with us, and i think all our animals are lucky to have any of us as owner....altho sometimes i wonder who owns whom. Hubby sleeps a lot, i hope its only catching up from being in hospital....its hard to rest in there. We got a tiny storage unit as we have a few things in jessis shed, they list their house in feb He has a doctors appt on 22nd and then we will move on to a lil warmer camping. | |

| CB: I had a friend who was sad for horses because she thought they were slaves. Not my horses, I am the slave who cleans up after them, feeds them, cares of them, and asks for just a little of their time to carry me around once in awhile. She didn't own horses, obviously. TRUDY: I am sure you will enjoy the new position! At least you will have the title to go along with the work. Congrats! Cold all weekend. Horses have blankets on again. It has been an extra cold winter so far, well below the average temps. I am ready for spring. Next weekend we get a little break, it is going to be up to 60 degrees!!!! Maybe I will get on a horse. I am having lunch with the horseback Christmas carolers tomorrow, that will be fun. | |

| ARK, I ride in spurts...........I work the colt 3-4 days in a row and then don't ride again for 4-5 days or more. He's coming along well. He's easy peezy.
At my church we had a birthday lunch at a restaurant for January birthdays. I counted too many and gave a card to a February birthday. So, we had fun laughing about that. We have a great group and a good time. We've made a .com site that we communicate through and that seems to work out. Our mountain church is different and we've had several ill this winter. We have to pray for them.
As for the blah blahs, they're the same...........all still arguing to have their way. We're a riot...............
No other news here.
God bless. Everyone have a good day.

| Today has been a post card looking day. It has been falling ALL day with no wind. There are about 3 or 4 inches on the ground. It isn't quite as cold, and the snow makes it pretty. Big surprise... Travis has been playing with his snowmoblles out on the ice. He has three of them out there now. He has to go south for a week of training, starting in a couple of days. It's gonna kill him to leave the snow. It was a good day to stay in the house and make bread. It turned out well this time. I just can't resist cutting off the heel of a loaf and smearing butter all over it and eating it while it's still so hot. It will go well with the chili I'm going to have for supper. CB, did you leave your other camper in Tucson? I forgot what you did with it. I hope Harry is continuing to do well. | |

| We have SNOW and LOTS of it. It has snowed for over 24 hours but we still only have about 6 or 7 inches. It is still snowing this morning. Glad we don't have any appointments this week. It's not so cold and going to be in the 50's by the weekend. Winter in PA gotta love it. | |

| It's still cold here. That's about it. We only got about 3 inches of snow that has compressed to about 2. It certainly hasn't melted.
A new head board arrived today, about 6 weeks ahead of schedule, which was a nice surprise. I got the legs screwed on and put it in place. Now I need to reposition the legs so it is shorter so the top of the head board is below the trim on the window. That's tomorrow's project.

| We have sunshine here in PA too. 27 degrees and sunny. What a great day. Made a trip to Sam's Club this morning. The snow looks beautiful today with the sun on it. | |

| I'm here....(waving) I have been reading Game of Thrones. Whew! The third book has been intense! I love reading in the winter after taking care of the horses and barn. Of course, I also love reading in the summer, too..... It was in the high 40s today and is going to be 52 degrees tomorrow! The snow is almost gone except in the shade on the north side of things. We were so lucky, just a county below us got 10 inches of snow. We got about an inch. My kind of snow. It is going to be at least near 50 all this coming week. What a month we've had, so cold. Ivan and I are going to Pandapas Pond Park tomorrow. I haven't been on him or Areion for a month. Ivan has been fairly rambunctious lately, he may be a pill tomorrow....or not. One never knows with him. He has been telling the mares who is in charge in the past week or so, social climbing. Usually Daisy will flatten him, but she had an ouchy rear foot for awhile and he has taken over, at least for now. Daisy's foot (or fetlock, we aren't sure), is now not ouchy, so she may retaliate soon. She is off bute and not limping. Once she goes into heat, the horse in charge will change back to her. Herd dynamics.... Areion just gets out of the way. FaceBook had one of those little games that showed which words you use the most. No surprise about mine: | |

| A friend called this morning saying she was going to be in a meeting in a nearby town, and asked if I wanted to get together after for lunch. Of course, I did. So, I got busy and fixed some chicken and noodles and had it ready when she got here. Thank goodness for the Instant Pot. We had a good afternoon of visiting and eating. It was an unexpected but good day. | |

| The snow is going going almost gone. It's 33 this morning. YIPPEEEE I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend yesterday. What a blast it was. She was so surprised. She had been texted me all morning and I could hardly contain myself from saying something about it. I think she had a feeling something was going on. Her hubby was so excited. He pulled off a surprise for her. She was telling everyone how we became friends over a roll of scotch tape in one of the Barnabas team meetings. Not being crafty gals, we were the scotch tape gals. When she opened the little gift I brought, she started howling..it was yup...scotch tape. Everyone was howling. Great minds think alike. | |

| Pea soup. We have a very dense all day fog. Can't begin to see across the lake. It's been like this all day. The snow is nearly gone, only what was piled up is still there. I think we have one more "warm" day, then it will get colder again. It's been a good day to do very little. | |
