June 2013....

OBVIOUSLY I have no clue about what to do to post a pic. from my computer. 3rd to the LEFT of the YouTube thing is what I'm trying to use and getting no where fast.  

Sorry...but this is just a bit beyond my skill level description.

Rick, try Google albums, or Image Shack.  You can make a Google album then give us the link to the album.
Or ask Mz Carol to post it for you. She's done all those beautiful online albums.

 They've changed some things on this forum since I have been without a computer connection and I haven't tried those little icons near the YouTube icon you mentioned to post pix.  

However, I can tell you how to do it the old way.  

1.  Begin a post
2. Go below the posting box where it says "File Name"
3. Hit "Browse" and that will open up your computer files.  Pick a photo to copy from your files and "open" it.
4. Then hit "Submit Query".  This will attach your photo to the "File Name"

5.  Then hit "Send" at the bottom and a thumbnail size photo will appear in your post.  To enlarge it, just click on the name of the photo and it will open it in your computer.


The attached photo is of my great nephew and niece, Sam and Rachel, who were in an early July 4th parade yesterday. They are my sister's grandkids.

 Now to insert a full size photo, you need to have an account with ImageShack or some other photo hosting website.  Use the "Insert Image" icon, the second one on the line with YouTube icon.  Copy and paste the photo name from your ImageShack account there, making sure there are no double copies of img or /img on both sides of the photo name.

Gosh, sad day here in AZ.......................19 firefighters killed while fighting a widfire in Yarnell. The wind shifted and they were trapped and gone. The fire is still raging but the bodies have been recovered and taken to the medical exainer's in Phoenix. We will be having a dedication explanation in about an hour here.

THey were all out of Prescott Fire Dist. so a few might be grandchildren of friends of mine. As of right now I have no idea. Prayers again for all involved.

All I have right now is some pain while walking.........all will be well.

CAROL, how was your ride?

Graymare, I heard about those elite firefighters this morning. How AWFUL! 19 out of 20 of that group. The 20th was off fighting another fire.

I'm really glad to hear that you are beginning to feel better.

My manager said today that she just doesn't have words big enough to describe the miracle of her hip transplant. After years of constant pain, her hip doesn't hurt at all. She will have a knee done in August and knows that will be a more difficult, but having been through the hip, she's ready and knows how much better she'll be when she recovers.

That is just so sad about the firefighters. The lone survivor must really be suffering emotionally.
