| Ark, she is likely to teach me a lot. She's had embroidery machines for several years, and she is the one who got me interested in it. She's better with software too, so we'll both work on that. | |

| Have a safe trip and have lots of fun Ellen, if I had the gas I would go to my daughter's in Carolina on a regular basis she is only 8 hours away, right now she is busy getting residency established so she can get her drivers license, and a job, | |

| Sounnds like texas got hit hard with this, I wonder how good roads will be by tomorrow....be careful. r u taking 20 into el paso? at least major arteries should be open. the oil trucks on the smaller roads r so dangerous...they r always in a huge rush and pass u unsafely pushing u over when I had my horse trailer on....I never took 67 to interstate again and now 87 has lots of truck traffic. such nice quiet routes just exploded with traffiic...what a difference it made for those nice little towns...brought lots of business, but lots of problems too. some had wells go dry, shortage of housing and prices of skyrocketed, your kids couldn't ride their horses or bikes to the store anymore... I'm just rambling...
Good morning everyone! time to feed the critters and have a cuppa...
Sunny, u should just move up there with Jodi...there's more snow headed that way...I always liked to visit florida but only lived there a few weeks....I know the carolinas get lots of rain and the storms coming in always bothered my joints....so far hasn't bothered me here or texas but boy I could feel them coming in idaho.

| I am safely in a motel in Springfield and just ate a good meal of ribs. It was bright and sunny until the last couple of hours. Then it clouded over. My friends are telling me the weather should be good tomorrow. Tomorrow night should see me in Santa Rosa, NM. | |

| Safe trip, ELLEN!! And lots of fun. How long will you be gone?
Cold here again today, but not as bad as last week. We now have snow and ice with rising mud where paths were cleared in the sunny spots. No lesson this week with bad footing in the arena. Areion needs to work, she was a pill today when I was trying to put her blanket back on.

| I love Baskir Curley's...........we have 2 down the street. Sadly, at open shows they are unfairly judged as this is 1/4 horse country. They are a wonderful breed......great kid horses. That one is lovely. Good day here today......sunny & cool, about 60.....perfect day. We're finally ahead of the weeds............that will last about 2-3 weeks. ARK, hang in there. Spring will be coming. Ugh, so will our heat. CB, hope your painting is going well. SUNNY, hope you get to move soon. Everyone have a good evening. | |

| Have no FEAR .... SNOOP is here to wish Miss ARK a bodacious HAPPY BIRTHDAY...and to tell her that RICK ate extra helping of Carol's blueberry salad dessert in her honor. Today is also Jillian's Birthday and she and Kid Cameron came down for dinner this evening! Here is a TEST for you FOOPS designed to keep our mind alert. (pssstttt.....RICK FAILED IT ) MIND GAME 2% or 98% This is strange...can you figure it out? Are you the 2% or 98% of the population? Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD! Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow. There's no trick or surprise. Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can! Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them ... ready. Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something). Think of a number from 1 to 10 Multiply that number by 9 If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together Now subtract 5 Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with (example: 1=a, 2=B, 3=c,etc.) Think of a country that starts with that letter Remember the last letter of the name of that country Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter Remember the last letter in the name of that animal Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange ? I told you this was FREAKY!! If not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this exercise. Keep this message going. This one is actually worth sending on to others.. Forward it to people you know so they can find out if they are usual or unusual. | |

| RICK: Â I got a cow eating Watermelon in the Dominican Republic...... Â Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! Â I had a very nice day. Â Donnie took a half day off and after waiting on our tractor and lawn tractor to be delivered back from the shop, they were snowed in for awhile, we went to Macados in Radford for lunch. Â We had the cutest waiter . Â He and a herd of other workers sang a weird happy birthday song to me and gave me a very pretty ice cream dessert in a freshly made sugar cone. Â Yum! Donnie gave me a great tack trunk to keep my saddle and stuff in down at the barn so I don't have to haul it down there to ride all the time. Â It is rodent proof. Â This will make riding easier if I don't have to haul a ton load of stuff down there all the time. Â My sister, Vicki, gave me a decoupaged wooden plaque with our anniversary photo done on it. Â It is very nice! Â And Ivan, that sweet little horse, sent me a signed card with a bag of assorted chocolates! Â Â Â I can truthfully say a horse has never sent me a birthday card before.... It was a very nice day. Â No riding, of course. Â We have ice and snow galore. Â It snowed again this morning, but not much. Â The temps tomorrow are supposed to be 40 degrees, so maybe a little will melt. | |

| Good morning. I am in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. I tried to get online last night but kept typing the password wrong. CB, I did intend to stop in Joplin, but was tired and decided to stop sooner. It was a last minute decision. Other than being long, yesterday was uneventful. Roads were fine. They were wet in Oklahoma City where they had salted the night before, and my car looks like it has been four wheeling. I have about 5 hours today, so it will be easy. Later gang. Thanks for your concern. | |

| I wonder if when we look up driving times and distance if these folks ever stop to pee!..I have never done a trip in the time it says.....hmmmmmm...I've been checking time and milage to des moines iowa and also to charlotte nc...two trips coming up
Glad you r alright ellen....I think ks, ok, tx, and ne r the worse states to drive thru....you go and go and go...and I think not having much to look at makes it seem longer, lots of open space.
More snow showers headed our way, but won't stick around for long....spring is acoming
Ark, sounds like some nice gifts and what a smart horse ivan is lol

| "Dogs Welcome"
A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation.
He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me.
He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?" An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote: SIR: "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or steal pictures off the walls or use them as a coloring book. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a
dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is
welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for
you, you're welcome to stay here, too."
